Precious Memories
of a
Storyteller

Claressa Darden Morrow educates

as she entertains. Her commitment is to

keep alive and pass on to future

generations the culture and folk

traditions of African Americans

whose roots are in the

southern United States and West Africa.

Claressa believes that "stories illuminate

who we are as a people."

Using song, sign language, and the spoken

word, she tells family stories as well as tales

from Africa and other countries.
